The Monday before Christmas we had a record snow storm. We usually might get 6 in. on a good storm, we got twice that much in one day. We got the van stuck in the snow twice. The ice eventually pulled the Christmas lights off the house as it melted away.
As a tradition, the kids get pjs on Christmas Eve.

We can't thank enough all those who made this Christmas, one to remember for our children. They were told not to expect too much, but actually had a fantastic day. Thanks again to all of you that made it happen.
New Year's Eve was fun also, Nana & Papa Card celebrated early, so they watched all but Andrew, who stayed at a friends house, to ring in the new year. Jen and I went to her parent's to play games with family, some from out of town, while we waited for the time to tick away. After midnight, we headed back home, and woke to an empty house, which was sooo nice, We then spent the day and dinner over at Nana and Papa's playing games.
Our final Christmas present arrives tomorrow, when the kids go back to school. HeeHee!!

Its nice to see that you guys had a wonderful Christmas and New Year. Bonnie and I talked about making it up there for Christmas one year. The kids are bugging us about having a White Christmas. They want to see play in the snow.
We are glad you all had a nice holiday season. We keep hearing that it is so wonderful when the children go back to school after such a long break...that is unless you teach school and then it is a moment that comes too soon. We have been dreading it since before Christmas.
It looks like all the little people had a great Christmas! That is awesome after all your family has been through.
Much love from Oregon!
